iW NEWS | Intrepid Pictures Grabs "The Expendable One"

Intrepid Pictures has acquired the graphic novel "The Expendable One" and has brought on Shane Kuhn and Brendan Cowles to write the screenplay, Intrepid partners Marc D. Evans and Trevor Macy announced Monday. The action/comedy was created by Jason M. Burns and published by Viper Comics. Kuhn and Cowles are currently writing "Twitch," an action/adventure script set in the world of video gaming, for Sony Pictures and Neil Moritz's Original Film. They will make their directorial debut with the horror film, "Drive-Thru," which will be released by Lionsgate this spring. [Brian Brooks]
