Ellen Kuras' "The Betrayal (Nerakhoon)" won the Ken Burns Award for Best of the Festival at the 46th Ann Arbor Film Festival, while Elvind Holmboe's "Diente por Ojo" won the Lawrence Kasdan Award for Best Narrative Film. The prize for best international film went to Jean-Gabriel Periot's "Nijuman no Borei" and the Chris Frayne Award for Best Animated Film went to Andrew Cahill's Spontaneous Generation and Lisa Barcy's "The Mermaid."
