iW NEWS | Letterman's Worldwide Pants To Produce Doc

Worldwide Pants Incorporated, the production company founded by David Letterman, announced that production of a documentary about American teenagers running for elected office in 2007 will begin this weekend and run through Election Day in five states. The as-yet-untitled film will be produced in a partnership between Pants, producer Lawrence Bender and Balance Vector Productions. It will be the directorial debut of Jason Pollock, who formerly worked as personal assistant to Michael Moore. "I'm very impressed with Jason Pollock and all the young people in this film," said Letterman. "When I was their age I was still delivering papers on a paper route, and I wasn't even very good at that." The film represents the first-ever documentary and non-comedic output from Worldwide Pants.
