iW NEWS | "The Class" To Close Festival du Nouveau Cinema

Laurent Cantet's Palme d'Or winning "The Class" will close the 37th Festival du Nouveau Cinema on Saturday, October 18 in Montreal. The festival awarded Cantet its 2001 Louve d'Or for "L'Emploi du Temps." Also announced was the addition of two Special Presentations, Jacques Doillion's "Just Anybody," Jonathan Demme's "Rachel Getting Married." The complete program for the 37th Festival du Nouveau Cinema will be announced at a news conference on September 23, 2008. [Peter Knegt]
