iW's Online Video of the Day: Jon Stewart Rips GOP for Screening "The Town"

Jon Stewart is a little confused about why the GOP would show a clip from "The Town" as inspiration.

You've probably heard something about this story by now. In an effort to get Tea Party representatives behind John Boehner's debt plan, House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy did something pretty bizarre. He screened a short clip from the 2010 film "The Town," in which Ben Affleck asks Jeremy Renner to help him hurt some people, to which Jeremy Renner responds, "Which car are we gonna take?"

First of all, the choice of clip is completely wrong for what the House Republican Caucus is trying to accomplish, and second, what's next? If they really wanted to confuse their representatives, why didn't they just use some similarly-meaningless clip from "Inception"?

Luckily, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart had all these questions and more last night. We especially like his idea for a Chuck Schumer movie review show!
