iW's Online Video of the Day: "One Day on Earth" Trailer

"One Day on Earth" seeks to document the human condition and reveal that some people actually dress like this.

On October 10, 2010, over 16,000 filmmakers from every country in the world recorded their human experience for the much-discussed documentary project "One Day on Earth."

Amazingly, in just three years, the film has grown from a small social media project to its own online community, sponsored by the United Nations and over 60 nonprofits. Also, they have a terrific website, where you can sample all 16,000 video contributions in an online archive.

The final film itself is in post-production, and in order to finish the project, they've asked for help on Kickstarter and released this trailer, which is really beautiful.
