Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
The Mansion is a suspense-thriller about a family trying to survive in the wake of a great catastrophic event.
The Mansion is a suspense-thriller in the post-apocalyptic genre. Set in the South, just outside of Atlanta, the film follows a family struggling to survive following a great catastrophic event. The family consists of a mother, father, their 8-year-old daughter, an older neighbor and an injured young man, whose intentions become more uncertain as the film progresses.
As supplies become more scarce and the threat of marauders is more apparent, the family must face a decision to either remain in hiding or go in search of an elusive mansion they've heard of that may or may not exist.
Director: Andrew Robertson

About the Production:
"Growing up in Georgia, we've noticed a stark change in the visual landscape of the Atlanta metro area over the last few years. The struggling economic outlook and the recent real estate crisis have created pockets of neglect and decay in communities all over the state. It has really created an eerie atmosphere of a world that's been deserted.
"In many ways, our home, the state of Georgia is the perfect location for the story of a family trying to survive in a world that has been abandoned." -- Andrew Robertson
