Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

"DON'T FOLLOW ME (I'm Lost)"

Tweetable Logline:

A gritty fly on the wall experience with a touring musician dealing with the repercussions of the road...Complicated Rock n Roll situations.

Elevator Pitch:

Fighting his way out from the shadow of his famous father with a rock all his own, Bobby Bare Jr. attempts to redefine what it means to be a touring artist today-playing everywhere from small clubs to people's living rooms, all while dealing with the repercussions of the road; the constant separation and the disconnect from loved ones back home. With very few interviews, the audience is a fly-on-the-all along for the ride as Bobby Bare Jr. weaves his way thru complicated Rock 'n' Roll situations. After months on the road, is it ever possible to really reconnect?

Production Team:

Director: William Miller
Advisor: D.A. Pennebaker ("Don't Look Back," "War Room," "Monterey Pop")
Producer: Lee Baker
Editor: Erin Nordstrom ("I Am Trying To Break Your Heart: A Film about Wilco")
Cinematographer: Soopum Sohn/William Miller

About the Production:

At NYU I had D.A. Pennebaker as a professor. After watching DON’T LOOK BACK and hearing him talk about the process, I knew I wanted to make a rock film where the audience could live in the moment and have a true fly-on-the-wall experience. We shot on a variety of formats including Super 16, 16, Super 8, HD, and utilized small GoPro cameras for unparalleled placement precision. An interesting visual component was light, or the lack thereof. Most venues Bobby plays are dimly lit, so we shot the film portions of the live performances at 6fps and step-printed in post.

Current Status:

Post-Production.
