Remember that famous scene in "Back to the Future Part II" where Marty McFly discovers that Nike has invented sneakers that magically lace themselves? It turns out that the director Robert Zemekis vision of future of technology might not be science fiction for much longer.
Last night, Nike released this video, called "Marty McFly's Closet," which appears to be announcing the upcoming release of those electronically-lacing sneakers. Nike has already acquired a patent for the new technology, which will forever change footwear.
This is really cool and everything, but we've just got one question: When do I get my hover board?
