Two-time Academy Award-winning director John Lasseter ("Toy Story") will be feted at the 10th anniversary celebration of the Sonoma Valley Film Festival. The evening will feature a look back at Mr. Lasseter's career, and feature guest appearances and toasts from his friends and creative collaborators, including, according to the festival, "many of Hollywood's most celebrated actors, writers, directors and industry leaders." Sonoma presents 75 independent films annually, including feature length narratives, documentaries, shorts, and student films. The festival, which runs April 11-15 in the famed California wine-growing region, is still accepting submissions through December 15. For more information, visit their website. [Brian Brooks]
