"Journals of Musan" Snags Top Award in Marrakech

The 10th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival wrapped over the weekend, with Park Jungbum's "The Journals of Musan" taking the Grand Prize among the 15 international feature films in competition.

The 10th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival wrapped over the weekend, with Park Jungbum's "The Journals of Musan" taking the Grand Prize among the 15 international feature films in competition.

The jury, headed by John Malkovich, awarded the Ex Aequo Jury Prize to two films: Alejandro Gerber Bicecci's "Beclouded," and "Beyond the Steppes" from director Vanja d'Alcantara. Ex Aequo for Best Performance for the Entire Cast meanwhile went to both David Michod's "Animal Kingdom," and Feo Aladag's "When We Leave."
