New films from Hong Kong and Mexico will highlight the 14th Annual KidFilm
Festival in Dallas, January 17-18. New films include the world premiere of
"Lunker Lake: The Movie", starring puppets from the Nashville Network, the
U.S. premiere of "A Chinese Ghost Story-The Tsui Hark Animation" and "The Borrowers", starring John Goodman, from Mexico, "Julio And His Angel".

The line up also includes screenings of classic children's films; "Mary Poppins", "The 5,000 Fingers Of Dr. T.". An historical video, "The Amistad Revolt: All We Want Is Make Us Free", tells the same story as the Steven
Spielberg film, but from a child's point of view. Actress Jamie Renee
Smith ("Dante's Peak"), will present her new film, "Magic In The Mirror" and
take questions from the audience.
