Kino Lorber, Inc. has acquired U.S. theatrical rights to Joan Carr-Wiggin's comedy "if i were you." The film stars Academy Award-winner Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Watling ("Talk to Her"), and Aidan Quinn.

Marcia Gay Harden plays Madelyn Reid, a woman who becomes aware of her husband's affair after saving his mistress Lucy (Leonor Watling) from her suicide attempt. Madelyn tries to seize the upper hand when Lucy suggests they take each other's advice, but things get messy when Madelyn's co-worker and a handsome stranger (Aidan Quinn) are thrown into the mix.

Kino Lorber's CEO Richard Lorber, stated, "'if i were you' is a charming, smart and funny look at the unexpected places life can take us. Marcia Gay Harden's virtuosity and emotional mastery as an actress have never been put to better use as she and Leonor Watling escalate hilarious complications in this refreshing female-drive comedy.  We believe American audiences will eagerly savor this delicious film which is why we are releasing it widely to theatres and homes."

The film was produced by David Grodian and Alan Latham for Paragraph Pictures and Tall Tree Pictures. It will be released across select cities on March 15th and will also be available via VOD this month via cable video on demand, iTunes, Amazon Video on Demand and VUDU.
