The Star of "Knuckle" and Tim League Will Step Into the Ring at the Fantastic Fest Debates

Our call: Fantastic Fest co-founder Tim League should be afraid.

The genre film festival announced today that League will box bare-knuckle brawler John Quinn McDonagh (the subject of the Irish boxing documentary "Knuckle") as the main event of the annual Fantastic Debates.

At the signature festival event, press, filmmakers and film professionals enter an arena for a formal debate about issues facing the fan community, followed by two rounds of boxing.

Last year saw League face off against Michelle Rodriguez. Despite her formidable boxing skills (her breakthrough role was in the female boxing drama "Girlfight"), Rodriguez lost to League.

Maybe he does stand a chance, but our money's on the "Knuckle" star.
