“La Mission” to Kick Off NY International Latino FF

The New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) will kick off its 10th anniversary on July 28 with Peter Bratt’s “La Mission.” The film, which premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, is the story of an ex-con and recovering alcoholic whose violent, homophobic outlook is challenged through his relationship with his son and a woman.
