Somewhere in the halls of AMC, marketers must gnash their teeth and rend their garments yearly in frustration over how to market the network's flagship series without being allowed to showcase anything about it.
The sixth season of "Mad Men" is slated to kick off on April 7th with a two-hour episode directed by Scott Hornbacher, and in typically opaque Matthew Weiner-mandated fashion, the promo released by AMC, below, contains no clues about what that premiere or the season might hold.
Instead, the "invitation to the affair of the year" offers up a look at some of the black and white party promo shots that were released in January -- and that's that. See you in April, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce!
