Magnolia Acquires Beatles Secretary Doc 'Good Ol' Freda'

Magnolia Pictures has acquired North American rights to the SXSW crowd-pleasing documentary "Good Ol' Freda," directed by Ryan White ("Pelada"). The film profiles Freda Kelly, The Beatles' lifelong secretary, who tells her story for the first time in 50 years over the course of the documentary.

Magnolia Pictures has acquired North American rights to the crowd-pleasing SXSW documentary "Good Ol' Freda," directed by Ryan White ("Pelada"). The film profiles Freda Kelly, The Beatles' lifelong secretary, who tells her story for the first time in 50 years over the course of the doc.

Magnolia plans to release the film theatrically later this year.
