Milano to Receive Women In Film Award
Actress Alyssa Milano, who is appearing in the upcoming "Hugo Pool", will receive Women in Film's 3rd Annual "Spirit of Sundance" Award. "Pool" Director Robert Downey will present the honor during a ceremony tomorrow.
The award, created by Women in Film to recognize women who have contributed to the independent film business, has also been bestowed upon Sheryl Lee (1995) and Marcia Gay Harden (1996).
"Hugo Pool" is having its world premiere at Sundance tomorrow. In addition to Milano, the film's cast features Patrick Dempsey, Jr., Richard Lewis, Malcolm McDowell, Cathy Moriarty and Sean Penn.
