"Minutemen" & "Gabi" Take Brooklyn Film Fest Prizes

Corey Wascinski's "The Minutement Movie" and "Gabi On the Roof In July" took the top three prizes, with "Minutemen" grabbing two nods, closing out the 13th edition of the Brooklyn International Film Festival. With this year's theme, "Stunt," BIFF presented 101 films from 92 countries. BIFF and its sponsors gave $50,000 in prizes, capping the event, which took place in the New York City borough's Williamsburg and Brooklyn Heights neighborhoods.
