Miramax Films has acquired the worldwide rights (excluding Asia) to Chris
Eyre's "This Is What It Means To Say Phoenix Arizona". The script, written by
Sherman Alexie, is based on his award-winning collection of short stories,
"The Lone Ranger And Tonto Fistfight In Heaven". The film won the first
Cinema 100/Sundance International Award celebrating the 100th anniversary
of cinema. Eyre and Alexie both attended the Sundance Screenwriters and
Directors Labs, where they developed the project.

"Phoenix Arizona" follows a young man coming to terms with his estranged
father's unexpected death. It is the first project from Seattle based
ShadowCatcher Entertainment.
