Modest Mouse's Isaac Brook to Compose Score to Country Music Flick "Queens of Country"

The lead singer and songwriter for Modest Mouse, Isaac Brook, will score Ryan Page and Christopher Pomerenke's "Queens of Country." The film stars Lizzy Cplan ("Mean Girls," "Party Down") as Jolene, a rabid country fan who finds someone's iPod and, judging by its contents, believes she may have the opportunity to find her soulmate.

The film also stars Ron Livingston ("Band of Brothers," "Office Space"), Joe Lo Truglio ("Superbad," "Pineapple Express") and Tool and A Perfect Circle's front man, Maynard James Keenan.

The writing/directing team has previously worked with Keenan ("Blood Into Wine") and The Flaming Lips' Steven Drozd ("The Heart is a Drum Machine") on their films' scores.

The film is set for a 2012 release.
