Fans of film and television posters and artwork have come to expect great things from Alamo Drafthouse's art division Mondo, and this year is no exception. Mondo and the Oh My Disney blog will pair up for a run of limited edition Disney posters that will be available exclusively at SXSW. It's a nice contrast to last year's run of limited edition "Game of Thrones" posters, a slightly gloomier fantasy world than most of the Mouse House's material.

The event will take place from March 7-11 at the Mondo Gallery on 4115 Guadalupe St, starting with an opening reception on Friday, March 7 from 3-10pm. The show features new artwork from Martin Asnin, Billy Baumann, Anne Benjamin, Daniel Danger, Jason Edmiston, Kilian Eng, Graham Erwin, Francesco Francavilla, Hero Design Studio, Brandon Holt, Aaron Horkey, Rich Kelly, Landland, Methan Studios, Mike Mitchell, Dave Perillo, Dave Petersen, Phantom City Creative, JC Richard, Jay Ryan, Jay Shaw, Todd Slater, Jeff Soto, Ken Taylor, Tiny Kitten Teeth, Kevin Tong and Tom Whalen.

"Disney has a special way of bringing out the magic in all of us and we're very excited to bring that feeling to Austin at this year's gallery event," said Mondo CEO Justin Ishmael. "Having worked with Oh My Disney over the last year, we know the site celebrates reinventing timeless stories and we hope our work sparks the imagination of both Disney and Mondo fans."

And to give just a taste of what to expect, here's the artwork from the postcard and poster of Ken Taylor's "Alice in Wonderland" work. Come to think of it, "Alice" has its fair share of threatened beheadings, so maybe it's not so far off from "Game of Thrones" after all.
