M'S the Word at Avignon/New York Fest Awards

The 3rd Avignon/New York Film Festival came to a close on Monday, with the
awarding of the 21st Century Filmmaker Awards at New York's Alliance
Francaise. The ceremony began with festival topper Jerome Rudes thanking the
festival staff and various sponsors, and continued with 5 awards being
presented to filmmakers. All of the awards are voted upon by the festival
audience, and are given to one French and one American film in each category
except for the Vision Award, given to one cinematographer.
