Toronto-based Multiple Media Entertainment (MME) and Vancouver-based Pacific Northwest Pictures (PNP) announced today a new film acquisition and distribution company, Cross Country Entertainment (CCE), which will have offices in both Toronto and Vancouver. CCE will acquire all rights for filmed entertainment, including theatrical, digital, television and ancillary rights, and will release the pictures under its distribution sector, Cross Country Releasing (CCR).
CCE's co-presidents are Michael Taylor, CEO of MME, and Zanne Devine, President of PNP. CCR's new slate includes: "Charlie Zone," a thriller starring Amanda Crew and directed by Michael Melski, "Off World," which screened as a part of the Perspective Canada Program in Cannes and won Best Canadian Feature Film at the 10th Reel World International Film Festival, and "OZ3D," from the producers of Gnomeo & Juliet.

Combining years of experience and successful track records in both television and motion picture production and distribution, the principals of Toronto-based Multiple Media Entertainment (MME) and the recently-announced Vancouver-based theatrical production, acquisition and distribution company Pacific Northwest Pictures (PNP) have launched a new film acquisition and distribution company, Cross Country Entertainment (CCE). CCE will have offices in Vancouver and Toronto.
CCE will be acquiring all rights for filmed entertainment, including theatrical, digital, television and ancillary rights, and will release the pictures through its distribution arm, Cross Country Releasing (CCR).
The co-Presidents of CCE are Michael Taylor, CEO of MME and Zanne Devine, President of PNP. Jennifer Graham, Senior Vice President of Sales & Acquisitions at MME, is adding CCR Vice President of Sales & Acquisitions to her title, and will be based in Toronto. Emily Alden, Vice President of Development & Production at PNP will take on additional responsibilities as CCE Vice President of Development & Production, based in Vancouver.
The Board of Directors of CCE is comprised of Zanne Devine, Michael Taylor, Drew Craig, the Chairman of MME, and Kirk D’Amico, the CEO of Santa Monica-based Myriad Pictures. Myriad will have the first opportunity to review CCE products for international distribution rights acquisition.

Cross Country Entertainment is already building its slate of films which will be released through Cross Country Releasing on various platforms as early as this summer. Some of the new projects on the CCR slate include:
· Charlie Zone, a thriller starring Amanda Crew (Final Destination 3, Charlie St. Cloud), directed by Michael Melski and currently in post-production
· Off World, which, in 2010, screened as part of the Perspective Canada Program in Cannes and won Best Canadian Feature Film at the 10th Reel World International Film Festival
· OZ3D, a new $20 million Canadian Content 3D CG animated feature film recently green-lit by MME and Arc Productions, the producers of the hit CG animated feature film Gnomeo & Juliet

He is the former President of Peace Arch Television, producers of “The Tudors” (Showtime/CBC/Sony) and former Vice President of Programming at Craig Media. She began her career at Raven West Films and went on toform her own company, All Done Productions.
