Myler Takes Helm of Aspen Film

Robyn J. Myler has been named executive director of Aspen Film, the group said Tuesday. Reporting directly to the board, Myler will have overall responsibility for Aspen Film's short- and long-term strategies, day-to-day operations, artistic and fund-raising efforts, and communications and outreach. Myler joins forces with Laura Thielen, Aspen Film's artistic director. Myler has served on several nonprofit boards as both chairperson and member. Prior to joining Aspen Film, she practiced law in New York and Colorado.

Established in 1979, Aspen Film presents over 200 programs througout the year including Aspen Filmfest, Academy Screenings, Aspen Shortsfest, and Film Educates.
