J.D. Salinger

"Salinger" opens in select theaters today. The new trailer for the film portrays Salinger as a man of not only many trades, but a man of just as many myths. The author has become iconic for his work in one of the most acclaimed novels to date, "The Catcher in the Rye." However, following the success of this novel, Salinger became somewhat of a hermit.

The new "Salinger" trailer depicts this side of Salinger. Talking heads recount their experiences and encounters with the man of many layers. Such background explores Salinger's countless love interests, his years as a soldier in WWII, and the deep rooted reasoning behind his disappearance post "Catcher in the Rye."
