The Weinstein Company label launched by Tom Quinn and Jason Janego late last year finally has a name.
Over the weekend, the duo revealed via Twitter that the multi-platform distribution arm would be titled RADiUS-TWC. According to the description on the official Twitter page, the company is "dedicated to making the highest quality films available where, when, and how you want."
Neither Quinn, who left his longtime post as vice president at Magnolia Pictures for the new venture, or his business partner Janego, a veteran consultant and former Chief Operating Officer at Big Beach Films, have made any formal announcements about the films they plan to release. However, both are currently attending the Sundance Film Festival and have reportedly been scouting for potential acquisitions.
In addition to revealing the name, RADiUS-TWC also unveiled a standalone website with the option to sign up for an email list.
