The film took best picture and best director honors, while Michael Shannon, Meryl Streep, Albert Brooks and Melissa McCarthy won acting honors. "A Separation" and "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" won foreign film and documentary, respectively (the same as they did at the New York Film Critics Awards).
Last year, David Fincher's "The Social Network" led the way, taking best picture, best director, and best screenplay. Acting winners included James Franco, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo.
