D’Angelo here. Not to get heavily into my hard-ass grading system and how little resemblance it bears to everyone else’s, but just know that my “mere” A- for Everyone Else actually signifies one of my dozen or so favorite films of the past decade. Flat As are for me so rare that most years see none at all.
Thank you thank you Mike D’Angelo for saying what needed to be said about Wild Grass. Repellent characters and WTF ending indeed. Par for the course for me and Resnais, though.
