NYT: A Role About Winter for Julie Christie, a Star in Eternal Spring

By Indiewire | Indiewire April 20, 2007 at 6:05AM

In The New York Times, Alan Riding profiles Julie Christie, star of Sarah Polley's feature directing debut, "Away From Her." "I fell totally in love with her," Christie tells the Times. "Of course, when she sent me this screenplay, I said no. But she kept on and on. She said she felt like a stalker. In the end, I thought, if I don't do it, I'll miss the opportunity of being with her on her first feature film."
