Comments
I'd like to see the inauguration of double -- or even triple -- awards for varieties of excellence that SHOULD not and CANNOT be compared. For instance in 2006 BOTH Heath Ledger and Philip Seymour Hoffman should have won for best actor. Both actors turned in transcendent performances set in totally different worlds and it's moronic and artificial to force a competition between two such achievements. The whole awards thing is based on the model of sports, not a feasible model for cinema's wonderful artists.
