
In "A Teacher," Lindsay Burdge plays an attractive suburban Texas high school teacher engaged in a heated affair with a male student (Will Brittain). The subject matter alone attracted a lot of attention prior to the film's premiere, and following its unveiling Burdge emerged as one of the breakouts of the festival with a performance The Hollywood Reporter praised as "commandingly internalized."

The deal was negotiated by David Laub and Dan Berger for Oscilloscope with ICM Partners on behalf of the filmmakers.
