Outfest, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization committed to creating and promoting LGBT media around the world, has announced its official lineup for its 2014 Outfest Fusion LGBT People of Color Film Festival. The festival, presented by HBO and now in its 11th year, will be held from March 14-16 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.

Outfest Fusion, which prides itself on being the only multicultural film festival in the LGBT community, will be featuring many highlights this year, including 2012 Fusion Achievement honoree Patrik-Ian Polk’s latest film "Blackbird," starring Academy Award–winner Mo’Nique and Isaiah Washington, and the world premieres of "Secrets & Toys" directed by Quentin Lee and "You Are Dead to Me" starring Harmony Santana.

“The films this year are about our sense of humor, our courage and vitality, our faith and resilience, whether we’re gay dads, women in Morocco or teens in our own backyard. Fusion means great films and diversity at its best,” says Tajmika Paxton, Outfest Fusion Programmer.

The festival will also be paying tribute to actor, writer and comedian Alec Mapa with the 2014 Fusion Achievement Award, which will be presented to him by Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh prior to the World Premiere screening of his one-man concert film "Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy" on March 15.
