Explore.org, a non profit multimedia organization that champions people around the world who devote their lives to important causes, launched a social media campaign to benefit Rwanda's Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. To do so, they've orchestrated a collaborative online film premiere for "Raindrops Over Rwanda," a short Explore.org documentary that examines the country post-genocide.
Here's how to get involved:
Visit the film's Facebook page, maintained by young Rwandan leader Honore Gatera. Click on the Like button. If the page receives 50,000 Likes by July 18th, Explore.org will donate $50,000 to the Memorial Center. So get clicking!
Check back with indieWIRE for the world premiere of the short on July 18th.
