Shannon Treusch, Janice Roland, Gary Hill, and Steve Beeman are leaving
Clein + White Public Relations to join Jeff Hill who left the company two
weeks ago, according to an article by Thom Geier in today's Hollywood
Reporter. The former C+W team will form a new public relations and
marketing firm according to the Hollywood trade, confirming rumors that
spread throughout the New York indie community last week.

A year ago, with the Sundance Film Festival approaching and indie PR
companies competing to sign Park City bound clients, two key members of the
DDA staff (Mark Urman and Jennifer Morgerman) left the company to join
Lions Gate -- that shift essentially set the stage for the latest indie PR
shake up. Clein + White vet Jeremy Walker joined DDA after Sundance,
replacing Urman as the head of DDA's NYC office, but he returned to C + W
recently as the firm announced its intention of expanding into production
and producer's rep work. According the Reporter article, the departing
Clein + White staffers were unhappy with the company's plans.

Geier's report indicates that the new unnamed firm will represent 6 - 8
movies at next month's Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, Hill told the
Reporter that he has had conversations with Los Angeles publicist Bumble
Ward about an "informal" relationship with her company for bi-coastal
representation.
