Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
"Eat With Me"
Feeling lonely and invisible in her marriage, middle-aged Asian mother Emma decides to save her sanity by hopping on the next train into the city to crash with her son Elliot, a young gay chef who runs a struggling Chinese restaurant.
Elliot and Emma’s mutual appreciation for delicious food and hearty home cooking breaks down the years of distance between them. Inspired by his mother’s dumpling recipes, Elliot takes the leap from boy to man through an innovative effort to save his floundering restaurant, as Emma takes on the journey to discover herself and her appetite for life again.
