A woman's life begins to change dramatically as she puts together a memorial retrospective of her recently deceased father’s films.
When her famous estranged filmmaker father dies, Grace decides to organize a memorial retrospective of his films.
Her father’s films begin to influence Grace in disturbing ways. She starts to piece together a picture of the man, but in doing so, uncovers destructive patterns in his life and in his “cinema novels,” that mirror her own recent self-destructive behavior.
Is she piecing together a portrait of a stranger, an accurate picture of her father, or is it Grace herself she’s seeing, projected back at 24 frames per second?

"Cinemanovel takes a look at the effect that art (film specifically) can have on us both consciously and subconsciously. As Grace begins to explore her father's work, those films start to influence her life in disturbing ways, changing her life and her relationships.
It's also concerned with "secret lives" and "secret worlds" within each of us. What parts of us are shared and what parts are for us alone?
