Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
OTHER MONTHS is a three-part feature film about Nash, a directionless young plumber. Nash lingers—in bars, in nightclubs, in the arms of strangers—hungry for intimacy, but is always coming up short. However, in the heady rush of sex, in the ecstatic pulse of a dance floor, in the electric punch of a confrontation with death—in these access points to the animal—he finds a certain undeniable potency. These moments in turn excite, terrify, and ultimately leave Nash with a profound longing. A character study, a visual tone poem, a headspace, OTHER MONTHS encompasses nearly a year in Nash’s life.

About the Production:
"The first part of the film, FEBRUARY, was my thesis at school. FEBRUARY came out of images from a dream I could not shake—something to do with the connections between youth, intimacy, loneliness, and ecstasy. The further I delved into these connections, the more there was to explore, and the richer the film became. Two years later, now feature-length, and burnished with an acceptance to Slamdance and an enthusiastic five-star review, I'm more confident than ever that OTHER MONTHS speaks to the experiences of many others as well." - Nick Singer
