Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

"FRIEND"

Tweetable Logline:

Coming Out in 2012 is a challenge. Teens risk cyber bullying through social networks.. FRIEND supports gay youth. No one should be alone.

Elevator Pitch:

Through this film we want to raise awareness for gay cyber bullying, to show the bullies what an impact their actions have on the life of another human being, We want to let the bullied kids know that they are not alone, that there are people they can turn to for help and that they should not suffer alone and in silence. I believe by making this film we can all make a big difference to their lives; we can give them hope and a reason to live. Stop Gay Cyber Bullying.

Production Team:

Director: Elliot D. London
Producers: Andy Wells, Cynthia Graner
Exec. Producers: Hilde Orens, Neil Woulfe
Director of Cinematography : Sandra Valde
Art Direction : Oscar Deagueros

About the Production:

"As a child, I was bullied myself. Kids called me all sorts of names. I was convinced everyone hated me. I had no friends whatsoever. I couldn't talk to anyone, I felt it was all my fault. If they bullied me, I must have done something wrong. It affected the rest of my life. I feel by making a film on coming out and gay cyber bullying we can support gay youth and raise awareness. We can make a difference, make it better. No one should be alone when bullied.. They need a FRIEND.." -Hilde Orens
