When four friends reunite for a night of fun in their hometown, a crisis forces them to confront the consequences of their lifestyles.

Elevator Pitch:

Living in the internet age separates us from the consequences of everyday life. Being separate from your everyday actions is dangerous because you can pretend like you're not part of the world and you can just blame the problems of the world on other people. And this is a story about four friends really coming to terms with a terrible moment of violence that is directly caused by their choices.

Sounds like every other movie every film student makes after film school.. same boring story about the four all-white, wannabe friends that reunite after years apart, for the same in your face result we've all seen more than 100 times. Unique stories about a moment are something worth watching, not "moment stories" like this that we're all going to forget 5 minutes after watching them. nah!! not for me..

In what must be the most difficult time to be a young adult in this country's history, "Menthol" appears to have a devastating perspective that is screaming to be heard by those who are ignoring the plight of joblessness, hopelessness, and life-long crippling by student loan debt.
