"Follow the Leader" and "Reality Check Interactive"
"Follow the Leader" is a real-life coming-of-age story about three traditional American boys who want to be President.
They start out as sixteen-year-old High School Class Presidents who are all conservative – and then split into Republican, Democratic and Independent camps over three years. As the film unfolds, they discover what they truly believe, who they truly want to become as adults.
It's provocative and funny, yet non-ideological. Outreach plans feature the cross-media project "Reality Check Interactive" – which combines an episodic film presentation with interactive voting. Will you help us spark meaningful and reflective conversations surrounding the 2012 Elections?

"I lived abroad for a decade, and would come home to teach over summers. After 9/11, students' worldviews had radically shifted overnight. I felt confused by what struck me as contradictory politics among teens who had learned what it meant to be American amid mass political hysteria.
"As I considered moving back 7 years ago, I started making a film about what I didn't understand.
