Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

"Fleecing Led Zeppelin"

Tweetable Logline:

In 1973 someone stole $200,000 from Led Zeppelin. Forty years later, it's just turned up.

Elevator Pitch:

Sometime during their last sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden in 1973, more than $200,000 was stolen from Led Zeppelin's safety deposit box at the Drake Hotel. The money has never been found until now. It's Led Zeppelin meets "Lock, Stock Two Smoking Barrels".

Production Team:

Jackie Maw Tolliver – Writer/Co-Producer (by way of New Zealand)

Jackie Maw Tolliver, (the 'Kiwi' in KiwiBrooklyn, the Production company that she co-founded with her husband Gabriel) comes from the same fertile land as fellow Kiwis' Peter Jackson, Jane Campion and Andrew Niccol. She has since left New Zealand and the global boardrooms behind and now lives and works in New York writing award-winning scripts for Film and TV with grist for the mill garnered by a short astronaut career and an even shorter motorsport career. Specializing in writing ripping yarns within very short timeframes, Jackie's scripts crackle with authenticity and pop with snappy dialogue.

Gabriel Tolliver – Director/Co-Writer/Co-Producer (by way of Cleveland, Ohio)

Hailing from Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Gabriel's past work includes MTV (most notably YO! MTV RAPS), VH1, Elektra Records, Current TV and Sesame Street. He is a decorated Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) where he served as a US Army video journalist(2007-2011) with the 22nd Mobile Public Affairs Detachment out of Fort Bragg, NC. Gabriel wrote and published a war-inspired book, Embrace The Suck: 366 Days of courage, strength, inspiration, wisdom. He is also the author of BLING: THE HIP-HOP JEWELRY BOOK (written with Internet personality Reggie Osse/Combat Jack) that was published by Bloomsbury Press. Gabriel’s passion is creating content/programming across media platforms and diverse worlds as a self-described, “creative mothership".

O. Valerie Nicolas – Producer (by way of Brooklyn, NY )

A passionate and intense producer, O. Valerie Nicolas is the Principal of Ol’ Soul Pictures, Inc. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Valerie has produced and directed The Jazz Kettle, an online cooking show pilot that layers the art of cooking with music and was an Associate Producer on The Tested, a feature film starring Aunjanue Ellis and Armando Riesco. Currently, she is producing the Led Zeppelin-inspired short film, Fleecing Led Zeppelin and a jazz-inspired feature, The Life and Time of a Lady. When Valerie is not producing, she is a freelance production accountant working on various television and film projects such as the critical-acclaimed FX show, Louie, starring Louis C.K, Win Win starring Paul Giamatti, Lifetime's Project Runway and the Spike Lee-directed HBO pilot, Da Brick. Prior to becoming a production accountant, she was an art department coordinator on the Academy Award-winning film, Precious.

About the Production:

"We came across this gem of a story at a friend's party and decided right then and there that this mystery needed to be resolved. If not for the fans, then for lovers of rock n roll. We wrote a script, cast some great actors and assembled a most talented crew. 'Fleecing Led Zeppelin' is our take on a true story that's been sitting in the dusty files of Rock n Roll history for 40 years. It's a short film that will pay homage to Led Zeppelin and their fans, as well as everyone who just likes good story." -- Gabriel Tolliver

Current Status:

Post-production.
