Liars Club. Unhappy, honest people embrace lying to get what they want. But they the lies they choose may be more true than anything.
"Liars Club" is a comedy feature film about a group of friends who are unhappy with where honesty has lead them in life, so they form a Liars Club to help them get what they want by shamelessly spinning a web of lies. But the lies we choose to tell reveal deeper truths, and so truth shall prevail.
Co-writer/Co-Director/Actor: Chad Faust ("Descent," "The 4400," "We Ran Naked")
Co-writer/Co-Director/Producer/Actor: Annie Burgstede ("Days of Our Lives," "Smallville," "Follow The Prophet")
Producer/Actor: Whitney Rice ("Limbus," "All the Wayside Things," "Vision Board")
About the Production:
"We are fascinated by how modern day morality says that honesty is on a sliding scale. What is the difference between lying to a homeless person about not having a dollar and living an entirely false life? And even more so, what's so wrong about living an entirely false life? That imagined life could actually say more about you, be more true, than the habitual life you accept as "reality."" - Chad Faust
