Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
Tweetable Logline: The Pink Sorrys is an acid-punk Bollywood musical about a group of women taking vigilante justice against rapists in India.
Elevator Pitch: The Pink Sorrys is an acid-punk Bollywood musical about a group of women taking vigilante justice against rapists in India. It's a highly-stylized, VERY loose interpretation of the real-life Gulabi Gang. It's got blood and guts and dancing and a killer Ramones-esque soundtrack by LA darlings The Tulips.

About the Production: After we spent a long time talking about the Chris Browns and Roman
Polanskis and R. Kellys of the world, we realized so much of the
conversation we have about sexual violence minces words or walks on
eggshells. We wanted to make something unflinching and brutal and full
of the spitfire vengeance often missing in similar pieces. And it was
important to juxtapose the whole thing against the bright, chipper,
ironically-sexual backdrop of modern Indian cinema.
Current Status: We are fundraising through Kickstarter
