Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

"Witness 11"

Tweetable Logline:

#Witness11 is the story of Bertold Brecht during the #RedScare.

Elevator Pitch:

A short film about the testimony of Bertolt Brecht during the height of the Red Scare. Mitchell is also launching a Kickstarter campaign to help finance the movie's post-production. "Witness 11" is from Brecht's point of view as he testifies to the House Un-American Activities Committee.

Production Team:

Director: Sean Mitchell
Director of Photography: Chris Lawing
Line Producer: Angie Lawing

About the Production:

"What originally caught my attention was the actual testimony of Bertolt Brecht and his ability to navigate through the situation while maintaining his honor. It is fascinating to hear a family man, in an incredibly tough situation, try to stay out of prison without betraying himself, or his friends." - Sean Mitchell

Current Status:

The movie is currently in production. We're looking for funding to complete post-production.
