Quentin Tarantino to Help Close the 2014 Cannes Film Festival With Sergio Leone's 'A Fistful of Dollars'

The Cannes Film Festival will close this year with a screening of Sergio Leone's 1964 Spaghetti Western classic, "A Fistful of Dollars," starring Clint Eastwood.

The Cannes Film Festival will close this year with a screening of Sergio Leone's 1964 Spaghetti Western classic, "A Fistful of Dollars," starring Clint Eastwood.

The event, which will take place on May 24th after the prizes have been awarded, will be hosted by Quentin Tarantino. The new copy of the film has been restored by the Cineteca di Bologna.

The screening was previously announced when the festival revealed its 2014 Classics Lineup. Tarantino's appearance hadn't been confirmed until now.
