Raindance Film Festival Announces Official Line-Up

London's Raindance Film Festival has announced its 2011 lineup, which includes over 90 UK premieres from 36 countries, more than 30 international premieres and a whopping 137 short films.

The festival will open with the UK premiere of Mike Cahill's "Another Earth," which will be released in the UK in December. The closing film is Chilean director Christian Jimenez's "Bonsai." Other highlights include the world premiere of "Acts of Godfrey," a British black comedy written entirely in rhyming couplets and "Leaving Baghdad," a road movie about Saddam Hussein's personal cameraman on his escape from Iraq during the 1990's.

Raindance will run from September 28 to October 9th at the Apollo Theater in London.
