"Road to Guantanamo" and "Old Joy" Take Newport Awards

Michael Winterbottom and Matt Whitecross' "The Road to Guantanamo" won the jury prize for best feature at the recent Newport International Film Festival. Kelly Reichardt took the best director prize for "Old Joy," while Emily Rios won best actress for "Quinceanera" and "Guantanamo" won a best ensemble acting prize. Gary Tarn's "Black Sun" received the best documentary prize and Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg took the audience prize for best doc for "The Trials of Darryl Hunt."
