Roadside Attractions has acquired U.S. and Latin American rights to the sexy drama, "30 Beats," starring Paz de la Huerta ("Enter the Void") and Lee Pace ("The Fall"). The film, directed, written and produced by Alexis Lloyd, concerns a group of New Yorkers whose lives interconnect via a series of sexual encounters during the summer.
Roadside will release the film theatrically and on VOD on June 1.

Los Angeles, CA (February 14, 2012) – Roadside Attractions has acquired all U.S. and Latin American rights to 30 BEATS, directed, written and produced by Alexis Lloyd. Lionsgate will handle all non‐theatrical rightsincluding VOD, DVD, TV in the US and Latin America. Roadside has set a June 1sttheatrical and day‐and date VOD release date in the US. Studio 37 acquired French rights; Latitude 49 and Studio 37 will jointly release the film theatrically in France on March 21st.

(ANGELS IN AMERICA, WEEDS), Lee Pace (THE FALL, THE RESIDENT, upcoming THE HOBBIT), Thomas Sadoski (Obie award for OTHER DESERT CITIES, upcoming Aaron Sorkin’s THE NEWSROOM) and Jennifer Tilly headline an ensemble of New Yorkers whose lives interconnect via a string of life‐changing sexual encounters during a summer heat wave. The international cast also includes Lithuanian actress Ingeborga Dapkunaite (FAREWELL), Peruvian Jason Day (MANCORA), French actress Vahina Giocante (LILA SAYS, 99 FRANCS), Ben Levin and Condola Rashad (on stage in RUINED and STICK FLY). 30 BEATS follows ten characters drawn into a ring of love and desire, each one caught beyond his or hercontrol in a chain reaction of seduction, impulses and self‐discovery. The screenplay was freely inspiredby Arthur Schnitzler’s play LA RONDE. The film was produced by Molly Conners, Carl Ford and Lloyd andexecutive produced by Susan Batson, Ronald Guttman and Pierre Lagrange.
