Robert Altman to Receive Sarasota Film Festival Salute

It's going to be a big celeb scene at the upcoming Sarasota Film Festival (March 31 – April 9). Director Robert Altman will be saluted at the event during the final weekend where his latest film, the Picturehouse release of Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" will screen as the closing night film. Other Sarasota honorees include Werner Herzog, Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, William H. Macy, Robert Towne, Paula Wagner. The fest opens with Leslie Greif's "Funny Money."
